Just use a stamped chrome tab instead of the billet adjustable type. Try summit racing part number SUM-G3205, which is under $2 US.
It is the same as Mr. Gasket Timing Tab 4593 which is $5 US but may be easier to get where you're at
This tab will not be as accurate as an adjustable tab, but since you are using a stock balancer you need to verify top dead center because those original balancers may slip with performance use.
When you verify top dead center, paint a line from the zero mark all the way to the balancer hub, crossing the rubber bonded area. Now if the outer balance ring slips you will have a way to see it.
The timing tab in the picture is the summit one I als have the mister gasket one both dont fit and they are to big and hit the ballancer tried to bend them thats not working wel as you can see in the picture.
The crank is a 400 yes and a 400 ballancer that came with the kit.
The tottal pakkage was ballanced.
I needed to cut the original timing tab because the fact the 400 ballancer is bigger.
So I was thinking becouse its a 8 inch ballancer I needed a 8 inch ballancer timing tab. Bud I think Im not educated enouff.
And no one to ask over here.
Thanks for the help so far
