Very strong Union job area in the past.
Till Bama got into the White House & fucked up the USA.

Most Union workers in Joliet are now un employed.
Guys I know are/ were Corvette & Mustang 5.0 Racers.
I was doing engine, driveline, chassis builds with dozens of them from 2000 to 2007.
Most ran in 10's to to deep 8's at Route 66 Raceway.
30 to 40 year old Red Blooded Hotrodding Americans.
They were not afraid to spend $$$ to go fast down the 1/4 mile and hire myself to help get them to their personal goals.
A few competed on the National NHRA - IHRA level.

It all came to a screaching halt with Obama taking over the USA.
Everyone of them like myself knows when & why it ended & who is to blame............Bama.

Each had had high paying jobs of $70K to $150K per year.
Unemployed now since 2007.

Just my close bud Ed & me survived.
Both are Mechanics.
Auto & Diesel Mechanics both we are.
Former Race Mechanics too.
