PCM For Less.

Google them to get their website. Great Cust. service and proven quality/performance. I love my tune. My A/F ratio was all over the place on my full bolt on car. and with the tune it gave me a nice flat and even A/F mixture! I was impressed.

I checked out the website, and this looks to be an easy enough and quick upgrade to make. Did you notice any increase in horsepower, and torque? Do they let you know what they changed, or how it should perform? Also do they send you a programmed PCM ready to go, and then once you take yours out you send it to them as the core? Thanks for the info. I also have an auto transmission, and saw that they can change the shift points, which would be cool.

I couldnt tell you if I recieved any HP and TQ from it because I installed it with other mods at the same time. But they pretty much garentee 10 rwhp on a stock car. I prob. got a few more out of it just because of the additional mods I have...

You tell them what you would like to change. When you apply to purchase one they ask you 60 questions about your car.

Its not a full PCM its just a small chip about the length of your pinky finger. There is no Core returns.

I just filled out and sent in a form with my data. I asked the speed limiter to be removed. I can't beleive they can do that! I'll be headed to wyoming in August. Might have to see what this car can doon those long stretchs of highway. Thanks again for the info! What other mods do you have on your car?

Headers, !cats!, high flow resonators and mufflers, CAI, Air foil, Under drive pullies, 1.6 roller rockers, tune, and a short throw shifter. (Those are the go fast goodies) But I also did the black Z06 rims, C5 brake upgrade, and GS hash stripes.

Its made 320 RWHP and 336 RWTQ on a dyno jet.

Dang! I just got a set of the C6 after market wheels, and got 18inches so I could upgrade to a C5 brake kit. I'm going to have to look in to some of these other things. I just ordered magnaflow exhaust last night for it. I looked at a super charger, but I'm not sure I want to risk blowing the engine.

Im looking at a procharger sometime this month. If you run the boost levels that they give you with the system you shouldnt have any problems...

I guess that's a good reason to have the C5 brake upgrade. If you get a chance post some pics of the procharger installed. I'd like to see what that looks like under the hood.

starting in 94 some car's requires the full ECM. That's according to Ed Wright's FastChip near me. Check out their site, 350 for a LT1 tune, they reprogram the entire thing, shift points, and tuning below 1400 RPM, which they claim most competitors don't do.....and many magazine's have tested and backed up their products so I'll tend to believe them.

Thanks for the info. Your right PCMforless requires the whole PCM for the 94-96 LT1. I've talked to them, and I'm going to give their tune a try. $300 for a tuned PCM, and when I send them back my old PCM they return $115 to me. They sent me this info on what their PCM tune will do, and I've looked at the Dyno results.

"we are picking up 15-20 HP, we can firm up the shifts, improve the shift points, lower the fan temps, plus we are picking up part throttle response and mileage gains."

Sounds impressive for little money, when you look at other mods.
