Isn't 18 psi a lot? I know GM built this engine to be tough, but wheres the line before u gotta think about internals?
On the flip side, I would love to see that thing with some drag radials on it. Pretty awesome if its garnering attention on the Viper sites!!!

Stock bottom end ls7's are running ~700 rwhp "safely" and some are pushing as high as 800. Not saying 800 is "safe" but the ls9 is significantly stronger than the ls7 in all the key areas.
I think the general consensus is that the car would make more power if the heat/heat soak could be controlled better. Once, or if a new heat exchanger is available I wouldn't be surprised if 800+ rwhp is attainable with the stock blower.

oh and he just ran 10.2 @ 137 with 18" drag radials.
