removing sun visors?

had the top out today and i thought the sunvisors stuck up to far and looked horrible, plus i cant remember the last time i ever used a sun visor so im removing them. It looks like the one side comes off with a socket but how do you take the other side off?

Do you have a C5 or a C6? Your profile says C6...

Okay, first you need to update your profile. Second, here are the instructions for removing the visors.

I took mine off my vert too King. They cut down SO much on the vision with the top up (and folded up) that I gave up.

It's not often that I 'need' them so I just put them on the shelf.

You'll like the 'space' it gives you.

I yanked my visors off as well...but mine was mostly out of anger after the little tab piece broke....i didn't exactly follow the instructions so much as ripped the infurnal piece off with excessive force.

I guess it doesn't make much sense to yank them off a Z, but I might just, Hell I cant put them down or I can't see out of the windshield and besides that is what sunglasses are for.

I bet the weight savings will shave a tenth off the 1/4 mile

oh jeesh ABN, you'll get MUCH more than that.

Why, with the hood seal installation AND the sun visor removal I picked up THREE tenths and EIGHT miles per hour.

I'm just full of speed secrets.
