ABS & Traction Control lights then check engine light???

Well I was on my way home on Sunday and while I was driving the ABS and Traction Control lights came on in my dash, with a flashing message saying service needed for both. The car felt fine didn't notice anything different. I pulled over shut the car off for about a minute with the key out of the ignition, turn the car back on and nothing for the rest of the day and into monday. Then I returned on monday saying the same thing and then on top of that the check engine light came on as well. Anyone else have these same problems? The car only has an intake and as of yesterday the B&B bullets on it.

DIC=Driver Information Center, where your C5 displays trouble codes so that you dont need a scanner for this.

1. Turn key to the ignition On engine Off position
2. Press RESET button on the DIC to display any warning messages.
3. Press RESET button on the DIC and hold it.
4. While holding the OPTIONS button on the DIC press FUEL button 4 times within 10 seconds.
5. The system will enter the automatic display mode.

This will cycle through all the modules and display every single stored code.
Write down every single code (in its complete form) and publish it here.

You could also clean all your body grounds and see if it helps. I had mine do it once, I jacked the car up and the lights went out...just by jacking the car up?? I cleaned all the grounds and havent had any problems since.

You can pull codes but what just happened is you lost your EBCM. Common on C5s. Your C5 will preform fine without it. Mine has for years. BUT you no longer have a computer correcting any mistakes you make while driving.
Honestly I seem to be the only one that is fine with that.
My avatar, I'm sure, looks like your dash.

Ok i will pull those codes tonight after i get off work at 10:30pm. Oh and yes my dash still has the abs and traction light still on. But should it have the check engine light on as well???

BTW: the local chevy dealership here is $80.00 an hour if I don't have some kind of extend warrenty on the car! LOL

Me too!

I've been driving without ABS, traction control or active handling since early 2007, when it all failed.

I don't recommend that to everyone, I just prefer a car setup that doesn't help me too much. I want to be the best "natural" driver I can.

Insert key, push clutch, turn key, hit reset twice, now YOU are driving. And we all know there is no traction control or abs on the DCZ and we have video to prove it.

But to answer your question NassauFRC NO your check engine light should NOT be on too.

Yeah I hit it a bunch of times since I have not filled washer fluid and my Vette thinks I need to change my oil every 500 miles.
In reality it's not push reset twice, it's push push push push push push fuel fuel. Cool got range.

Ok went out this morning to try an pull the codes. I followed Dr. Ducks step by step and couldn't get anything pulled. I looked on the dash and my ABS and Traction control lights are off again but my check engine light is still on. even when completely starting the car just the check engine light was on and no traction control or abs light light up. It's raing here and didn't want to take the car for a drive in the rain. LOL

When I had the key in the on position but engine off I hit the reset button once and nothing displayed.
I was holding the reset button and the options button at the same time like it says in Dr. Ducks instructions then hit fuel 4 times nothing came up.
