Highly customized C3 at PIR Cruise In

So I went to the Portland International Raceway for the weekly Wednesday night cruise in. On a weekly basis there are over 800 cars at the cruise in. This week being the first week there was at least 1100 cars. Among them was a highly customized c3. Sorry for the quality of the pictures all I had was my I-phone. It had a splint window on the back. It looked like a modified greenwood body kit. It also had a fiberglass dash. Here are some pics, what do you guys think? Overall it was a very impressive car!

I've never seen a split window incorporated into a C3 before. But when you see it, it does have the same line to it. Interesting concept.

The PIR Show is every Wednesday between now and Mid September. I try to go to one a month however I have a kid coming in August so I may only get to one more.

Another great show is the sherwood car show next Saturday. If the weather is good the park 800 hot rods in old town sherwood which is a great place by itself. Its next Saturday June 13th. Let me know if you can make it, I will keep my eye out for you.

Also, let me know if you need any help on your project!!!

Got a guy here in NW Indiana that sells the kit.
He lists it in Craig's List every now and then.

have you seen anyone in the area complete this installation? I am wondering how it looks without the rest of the body kit on the car that I saw.

If you a huge car nut like I am come down to the show just to take a look, even if you can't show your ride.

I don't know much about the quadrajets but I have a lot of experience with edelbrocks and holly so if you need help there let me know. I also have a timing light if you want to check the timing as well.

No one that I know personally. I did see one at a show about 2 years ago. Had the split window kit on a 78 or 79 car. Looks very similar to stock from the side with the slope of the rear glass. I thought it looked good.

I would assume visibility may be an issue though with the split glass and no side vision out the rear? Same reason it was taken off the C2 cars.

Iswartzi, I was kickin myself for not bringing the camera. That yellow mod C3 was preety badass. Thanks for posting the pics. By the way that was by far the biggest crowd Ive seen at PIR cruise in. One of the ticket guys said over 1800 cars. I go 2 times a month average.
