I've seen better decency at the zoo.
The juvenile court system should come down HEAVY on the ones involved, unfortunately they rarely do.
As for the bus driver, sure more steps could have been taken but they can't be expected to break up such a beating and there still would have been response time for police. And let's no get off point here, the video clearly shows who is at fault. Stick 100% blame on them and hope the justice system puts it to them.

Hate crime ?
In 10 years or so... when this kid shaves his head and tattoos a swastika on the side of it... he will be called a hate-filled animal brought up by intolerant parents. The Rev Al... will point his finger at him and the rest of us and say "see... we still do not have equality in this country".

I just watched this on you tube, dayum there are alot of racist comments, hopefully we will find out how this gets resolved, they should give that kid that stopped the beating a medal, i salute that young man, who stopped the beating

Problem is alot of schools look the other way with crap like this unless it hits the media.
My youngest daughters mother moved her from Spring Arbor and into the city when she and her husband bought a house last year. She went from being in one of the best schools where every kid regardless of race was pretty much tollerant if not blind to race (it really blows me away the difference between kids that grow up with educated parents and those from the inner city), but anyways she was immediately targeted by a group of girls (black) because some boy talked to her shortly after she started at her new school, she was jumped by a few several times and called alot of Racist names, the school only gave the girls that jumped her a couple days suspension after the second time I went to the school and had a talk to the Principal and their safety officer both assured me they would take care of it, well after the third time I went to the school and told the Principal that if it happened one damn more time and if the girls were not EXPELLED I would beat the shit out of the girls myself (sorry their is no excuse for 4 girls ages 13,14, and 15yr olds to be jumping a 85 pound 13yr old) I also informed the principal that I would make a point of driving over to the principals house(who lives around the corner from me) to beat the shit out of her as well any time my child was jumped, funny thing they finally acted once they knew I was about to flip out (think I scared the shit out of the Principal when I put the chair in front of her door during our last conversation where I told her I would gladly go to prison or jail to ensure the safety of my child but then again after having to have one of her teeth capped and splint and crutches from the last attack I was ready to explode)
Thing is I really dont think a school official should be threatened but they are the root of the problem as many of them make EXCUSES for the kids that are acting out, anytime a kid is jumped by a gang of kids the offenders should be and expelled permantally sent to an alternative school as they have proven they can not behave in a normal school setting
Thank god my youngest is now back in Western Schools (where they dont need a School Cop, makes you really question what happened with society in general when they need a school cop for a middle school)
Its really just a matter of bad parenting, many of the kids in the poorer neighborhoods are left to their own devices thanks to having little or no supervision or guidance
