9th cold start Injector question

I have it on my 88 set up, but can I just block the Hole and remove the fuel line and plug the opening? and not cause any problems? just checking since some of the intake's Im debating on have the cold start hole and some dont.....did some reading and figured out I would have to use a differant chip I guess maybe from an 89 model,,,seem's more of a pain.

Can do but will take longer to cold start.
The '89 + cars had cold start enrichment built into the tune so if you ran a '89 chip it should work or get a custom tune
The CSI block off kit is available online

When I had my 1988 Formula 350 Firebird; I used the Accel kit from Summit to do the removal. I did not run in the winter but started it up occasionally during storage and never had a problem. My son has the car now with no start problems.

I did this on my 85. I had the feature removed from my computer. I also went with the bosch III injectors I was told by FIC that these would help in cold starting due to better atomization properties. I have had no problems with cold starts but it never really gets that cold on the coast. I got the block off kit for the fuel rail and inj. on line for less than fifty bucks.
