My ACI Front Splitter Arrived

My friendly UPS driver was just here and dropped this off. Can wait to get it on, but I will have to wait until Friday to do the first test fit and then start the prep work prior to painting. I also hope to have the engine bling delivered early next week as well as install the GS fender strips I have had for well over a month.

More pictures to follow as I get it prepped.

That is a good idea. Is it just along the lip area, or did you do the complete splitter? Also what gauge ss did you us.

10 and it's about 3" along the front w/ mounting holes around the rear. w/ longer bolts and spacers inthru the aci holes.

I hope this gives you some idea.

In all reality it wouldn't have to stick out any. But I like it this way.

Thanks man. I really appreciate it. It's nice to get the compliments of other vette owners.

To the OP: I didn't mean to turn your thread into an aci pic post. I try to post the ss piece for those newly into the aci scene so they have an idea of a way to keep that aci gorgeous.

Congratulations - They look great on the car.

I had one, but after not being able to get onto lifts, having to use ramps to put a jack under the car, high coolant temps, trouble getting in and out of some driveways, not being able to clear a dead squirrel in the road, and side-swiping a parking block, I got rid of it. Other than that, I loved it.

Dig out your old rivet gun....you'll be needing it too!

Good luck with the paint and install!
