I've never been a fan of them myself, but a ticket and a jury trial for this?

I don't care for them either because they just look stupid. But whatever.

I am sure that this is a case a reasonable offer was made to settle, but someone somewhere in the process "wanted to make a point."

I think I'll make plastic va-ja-ja's and try selling them to Leaf owners to hang from their bumpers.

Personally, I think these things are stupid and anyone displaying them is a moron. That said.....

Virginia Tice was given a $445 ticket July 5 that accuses her of violating the state's obscene bumper sticker law.

The South Carolina code of laws says "a sticker, decal or emblem is indecent when it describes, in a patently offensive way... sexual acts, excretory functions or parts of the human body."

Please explain how hanging plastic balls are a "sticker, decal, or emblem". This case should be dismissed.

The cops are being assholes if you read the chief's statements in the link.

Smithers, unleash the hounds!
Edelbrock E-Force 1593 & Magnaflow exhaust for that healthy American sound. Before SC 354 RWHP, after SC 484 RWHP. That's all I can do and still pass California smog.

I have a customer at my shop that has those on his truck. I said to him that if he had a chevy he wouldn"t need them. Being that he has a Ford it didn't have any balls from the factory

I'm on the fence about those. When I was visiting my kids, a few years ago, I spotted them on the back of a pick-up. I just rolled my eyes and my daughter laughed. I just considered the source. You know, life is way too short to sweat the small stuff. If the parents don't teach or shelter their kids, trust me, their friends Will set them straight! Our mindset is to protect our kids, but reality says .. when kids go to school with knives and guns in the 1st grade, like here, we're doing them an injustice by not being straight up with them! Life Now isn't like it was when we were young, it's done 100% turn around. I was open and honest with my kids, if I Didn't tell them, someone else surly would! I worry more about a drunk driver, a person with road rage, that has a gun, a driver with No insurance, a child going to school with a gun, drive by shootings, gangs etc. Not what's Hanging off the back of the dang truck!
