Race seats are made to hold you in one place and are comforable for short periods of time. If you plan on driving for more than about 30 min at a time I would steer clear of non custom race seats.

Yea I agree I went down that road about 6 years ago and finally went back to stock seats in my camaro. I was hoping someone knew a company that makes race seat like seats but are comfortable seats.

How much track time are you looking to spend in your seats? Would you consider a harness friendly, bolstered seat superior than C5 stock with a recline feature rather than a hard-back, specific race seat. ..........such as Corbeau A4's?

Corbeau A4s are a good choice! I ordered the FX1 Pros and they a suppose to be pretty comfortable for a race seat. I'll tell you if they are when they come in on wednesday.

Seriously though, I haven't found any good racing style seats in my price range that were comfortable. I mean, you can get a rediculously priced Recaro or better that probably feels great, but I haven't had the pleasure of a long drive in one.

Lmao. Great pic. Yea apparently comfort and being broke go hand in hand when buying parts.

Between Ivan and Jr., you have probably heard from the 2 people on this forum who would know best. Just look at some of their track and build threads.
Come to think of it, Ivan is old and Jr. is boney so they both would be experts on what is comfortable and what is not.

Were you able to get a better bolster for back support?
