what the fob!!
Fob keeps draining the battery. May be one night or last a week. Tried every thing I can think of except putting it in the toilet.

You ass! Now i want some damn ice cream!
Okay, how do you know that it's your fob that is draining the battery? How did you test that theory? Also, pull and post your current codes. We'll get this figured out.

LAMO
I didn't know a fob would cause a code. Do you have both fobs? I assume it is only the battery in one of them. Did it start all at once or was it gradual like the first one died in 3 weeks then 2 weeks then a few days? Maybe one of the buttons is stuck.

Had the car for a month. Battery went down and install new one. The new lasted about a week each...after blaming it on the door greeter at Walmart I bought another pack.......these did the same. Went to a different store on the 3rd pack and realized that it wasn't the batteries after the pair I put in the welding helmet are just fine.

Yea I see why. The post above should have said I bought a 4th pack for the welding helmet and they are fine and work.....but all the others that I got are now dead from being drained. I was meaning the batteries are good when I got them...I thought I got bad ones.

So it's the FOB batteries that are dying, not the car battery, correct?

He's like that in person too. But I won't complain because he gives me ice creme!
Okay, you may have an easy fix. Your fobs may just need a little solder touch up. Crack one open and look at this thread.

Nope...they are good. The only way to even get it to work after it doesn't work is a new battery

That may be true, but the solder joints could still be cold. Reflow the solder and see what happens.
