guns
Since I'm out of town working I asked a family member to drop by and get me a 1000 rounds of 7.62x39, 5.54x39, and the price of a AK74. My gun dealer told them that as of 8 am this morning all the major AR15 manufactures were completely sold out and I was the last person to buy 7.62x39 from him. Don't know when any guns will be available, but one thing is for certain...the price will increase exponentially.

Sorry, I have to laugh when I hear that people are running to the gun store because their candidate didn't get elected.
Hearing stuff like this is very amusing to normal people.

Plenty of normal people buy guns.
AR15 is a popular choice by many.
M50 better.
Shoots through 1 inch thick high alloy vanadium steel with ease from 100 yards.
Right rounds will shoot up to 5 miles away I am told & still kill a standing man & go through his body.
Seen what a M50 can do.
Shit.
Welded together Bama 1 inch & 2 inch plate steel lifesize dummy lasted only 2 weekends.
At least 50 rounds went clean through.
Guy even gave it a swinging steel pecker, kept it small to match.
TIG welded & hei arced stick welded together.
1/2 inch radi weld beads made with 220 VAC water cooled TIG & Lincoln stick arc welder.
Built in 2007.
Pump shotgun with steel bird shot be a good choice at 15 yards or less.
Flip them off their feet onto their backs & lights out.
Sawed off double barrel 12 gauge good too.
Of course illegal.

I didn't say it wasn't normal to own guns. I live in Arizona and can drive around with a loaded pistol on my passenger seat.
What I think is abnormal is running to the gun store because some douchebag politician didn't get elected. Like it's the end of the world or something.

I think its the other way around. Its not because some douchebag politician didn't get elected. It is because some douchebag politician did get elected.

I know what you meant Patrick.
Why I didn't quote you exact.
I dont drive my 87 Roadster around with a loaded pistol on the passenger seat.
Cant anyhow because its Illinois here.
SNAP ON 1/2" inch drive 36" inch long breaker bar gets switched around from whatever vehicle I drive.
One good swing in the offenders head, both their eyeballs will pop out onto the ground.
A Master Mechanic's choice here.
Or I can beat the chit out of them with my 2 fists.
Still enjoy that yet.
Or....
Run them over with my 87 Vert too.
No one can run that fast.
What has been transpiring in Arizona last few years,
I don't blame You.
Loaded pistol in your C6 Roadster very good choice.
Have in laws near Tuson.
Mexican cartel everywhere I am told.
M50 a crazy bad ass gun... believe me.

I knew deep down he would be reelected.
Just had a hunch.
Welfare recipients never cut off prior to Nov 6, 2012.
Romney had a business plan.
Bama promised free tax payer money to all as long as you don't work & call him master yet.
Chicago political mafia was never taken down that back obama & find every unimaginable maneuver to cheat & steal.
After the fact everyone is blindsided stupid.
Still pissed off.
More important to be ready.
More than arms.
For anything.
Not just for yourself.
But for your family.
After we fall dead,
they must live somehow without you.
Taught them nothing to survive in the worst.
They will die too.
Its coming like it or not.
Texvette knows and others here 2.

Did you really expect anything less?? . It's only smart business for the gun lobby and gun shops to entice people who don't think so well to fork over their cash.

I always buy in big bulk when I buy cause I shoot a lot. I knew that people would rush in and buy everything thing up so I tried to get ahead of them. That's why I bought my Saiga 12 cause they were already getting harder to order, and I knew waiting wouldn't be on my side.....hell even the magazines are hard to buy and I buy plenty so when they do I can sell a few and make some money.

I was referring more to the silly-nilly's who think BO was going to have the men in black show up on people's door steps tomorrow, demanding their guns.
I used to have 5 or 6 not too long ago, but sold them all. About to purchase a PTR-91 run'n 308's and another AK-47.

I can see that the OP is in Tennessee and I don't know how it is down there but people aren't "running to the gun store" up here in Indiana "because their candidate didn't get elected." Rather, the gun stores have seen a fairly consistent high demand for guns over the last four years that has very slightly ticked up over the last three months. Our gun shows have seen steady larger-than-normal crowds over the last four years here in Indy. Now, make no mistake, Obama's election started that trend when he was elected four years ago... not because he was elected again this week.
The problem with the gun issue is that the left won't attack guns outright... that's a fantasy! They'll NEVER get guns out of the hands of US citizens... rather, the technique employed will be taxation. The government will begin to tax ammo by calling it a "violence tax", as seen proposed in Illinois last month. Therefore, it will be too expensive, theoretically, to shoot an "assault weapon", thus discouraging people from buying one.
This is how us "normal" gun owners look at things!

You can only have it one way, America... individual freedom or big government. Which is it going to be? |
