I could have used that yesterday. I was splitting logs with a saw and a crowbar.

Two people over at OSHA have just died of a heart attack and a stroke. I didn't see much "Mechanical and or Electrical guarding". But being from Kentucky.....I like it.

How would you even do that. If you gave me a log and a saw & crowbar I wouldn't know how to do that. Hey brother Junkman, there's a thing called a splitting maul and a big former Jarhead such as yourself should get the 12 pounder, especially with those big detailing muscles.

Yea, OSHA would want a two-handed or foot and hand trigger just to start the blade spinning.

Well, you take a log that is too big to cut in half with the circular saw that you have access to and you cut across it as deep as you can. Next, insert crowbar, whack the shit out of it and then lean on the crowbar with a whole bunch of force.

Actually, I stopped doing that. Too lazy to sharpen the axe (it's time consuming, my dad bought me a sharpening stone and some oil for XMas ...) and I can't find a store that can do that any more.

All they can do is sell stuff that comes from china ...
