My motors have always been strong so no issues there except a blown head gasket.
How ever driving a 9 second car on the track as well as the street I have had my share of drive train issues.
Blown up 7 trans, blown gears, etc.

The worst I ever had was in my LS6 in a jet boat I owned many years ago. It was running well up and down the river I used to take it out on. I stopped for lunch. When i started it back up after lunch, it suddenly sounded like a bunch of tin cans rattling around. Shut it down immediatly. Checked the oil dip stick and the oil was white. Loaded it back on the traailer and pulled the engine that night.
What I found was that the wrist pin had frozen and turned the piston over inside the cylinder, causeing the cylinder to crack and the piston to self destruct. Lots of parts that looked like the pictures above.
