Upcoming tax increases. Which I would actually be OK to an extent with if spending were cut and debt paid down. And our CIC wants to control the debt ceiling himself and bypass the system.
Yeah. Real sunny skies ahead.

By using Voodoo economics, of course.
In all honesty, I haven't a clue. Presumably the same exact way the government has been measuring/calculating the rate over the past several years.

You're half right.
You might want to look into the 540,000 Americans that fell off the roster this month that are no longer looking for work because they have given up. No, the actual unemploment numbers have not gone down.
Low information voter....

So how many of those 540,000 are people who are retiring. I will remind you again that 10,000 people a day are reaching retirement age. That would be 300,000 each and every month...well except february which would be 280,000 unless it's a leap year but then I didn't count the months with 31 days.
That means that more than half of that 540,000 number would have stopped looking and given up looking because they had planned too.

Then how many of the 540k are retiring involuntarily? Many people slip into retirement because their last job played out and after a long effort can't find a job to replace it.

So at what point do you call someone unemployed??? A guy who is 65 has no ability to work with modern technology and won't try to learn....is he retired or unemployed????
Many people are unemployed for this reason, and many who are younger. How is any president supposed to help them??
