c4 lt1 air cleaners

I have a stock 96 C4, would like to inmprove the air i0ntake system. Does anyone have good things to say about aftermarket cold air intakes?

The Ram Air style that draws in fresh air from where the front license plate once was has been long been the best available mainstream for C4 owners with stock & modded cars.
I think its been discontinued for a couple of years now.
It required cutting out the opening in the front bumper for mounting license plate with a Jig Saw or similar.
Had a streamlined venturi opening made out of ABS plastic you then installed with ductwork & air filter housing to match.

Someone else will recall them also & chime in with pictures.

I used the SLP claw back when I had my C4. Free flow verses true CAI. Seemed to work good.

I have the SLP on mine and while I can't give you any hard data to say its better, I can say that it looks cool.
