Gore sells TV station to Al Jazeera

Why does this not surprise me? Gore's failed TV channel goes from being a mouthpiece of the far left to being a mouthpiece to Middle Eastern Terrorism. In other words....you won't notice the change.

Wow. This article says Gore made $100M on the sale of his failed TV network. Failure never looked so good! I can't help but think of 30 pieces of silver as Gore sells a chunk of our nation to a group that abets terrorism against his own people.

I watch Al Jazeera and RT..moreso when I'm travelling, but I find it refreshing to get view points (whether I agree with them or not) that you will not even be offered on mainstream tv in the states.

Sounds like a purely business decision...nothing wrong with a little capitalism.

The american public will as soon as it becomes clear who the new owners are will have nothing to do with it. All that money spent and no viewers. Really...you wanna go down the road of what country has sold weapons to whom at what time and how that may have come back to bite us in the ass later?

Good business deals and being a good American do not always co-exist. If that were the case, fewer companies would have shipping American jobs overseas.

The difference is that the government has a foreign policy to implement. Part of that foreign policy is to to attempt to decide who to align with in different regions. That often means arming groups. As you said, sometimes we guess wrong and we pay a price. But individual citizens should not be arming any foreign group. IMO, Al Jazeera is a propaganda weapon of middle eastern terrorism disguised as a legitimate journalism entity. Our private citizens should not be aiding them, even for profit.

^^^ That is a long ugly road that few people are willing to admit to, or recognize....even with facts in black and white. At the end of the day, most people will choose to believe whatever helps them sleep good at night.

If it's all about guess work, then I propose we find a new way to do business. The guesses all seem to be wrong. Why double-down when you've been wrong dozens of times in a row??

No one's proven that Al Jazeera has ties to any group?? All speculation is based on fear... but hey, as we all know by now, fear is a very powerful motivator. On the hand, just look at my avatar.
