Something To Take To Bed With You...

Already built in home alarm system.

This is good advice… and hadn't thought about it if you are alone and having a heart attack and want to attract a neighbor.

Put your car fob beside your bed at night.

If you hear a noise outside your home or someone trying to get in your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until you turn it off or pre-programmed to stop.

Tried on two vehicle in the garage from the bedroom, works well.

Sorry if dupe.

My dogs will tell me if I need to grab my gun. They hear and see everything before anyone can get within 100 feet of my house.

Great idea.

Another is to keep a house key in your "safe room". It should be on a keychain large enough for the cops to find it when you toss it out the window. Mine is a 2' long pice of 1"x1" wood wrapped in red reflective tape.

That way, they can gain access to your house and clear all the other rooms without smashing in your door.

All part of our family defense plan.
