Silverdome deflated......
My daughter Stephanie is a web writer for CBS Detroit, and recently the traffic chopper of WWJ 950 took these photos of the Pontiac Silverdome that has been deflated for a new roof.....non inflatable.
The Lions called it home during the Barry Sanders and Billy Sims eras but it used for truck pulls and stuff these days.
It also collapsed during a snow storm a few years back as well.
Not the brightest design for an area prone to a few feet of snow each winter.

Maybe the team should play there still since they collapse all the time too.

Not true just a few years back they were first NFL team to go 0-16. That's not failing, that is Epic Failing.

With the talent that team has all over the field they should be in the playoffs every year. If any team needed to fire it's coaching staff it was that one.

Thank you! She really does have a great job, loves to go to work. She is one of the fortunate ones to use her degree right out of school. And she is good friends with the pilot so she gets great photos of the area from above often.
It's not the snow that hurts as much as the 20 below wind chills we get. Warmer in my freezer!

I've been in Atlanta for a long time, and I'd LOVE to get out of here....but 20 below wind chills don't appeal to me.
