Traded the Vette for a Challenger
I hated to do it but after having our Son, it was time to look for a summer vehicle that would fit 3 plus . I looked at almost everything out there in my price range and settled on a 2009 Challenger R/T. It has plenty of room in the back and still as that cool car feel. I hope to get into another vette down the road but for now, I have a family sedan. haha.

Sometimes you just have to be practical. I did the same thing when my son was born in 1980. Got rid of the 77 Vette and bought a sedan. Hope it doesn't take you 28 years to get back in one like it did me.

Thanks guys. I had to replace the stock exhaust with a Borla ATAK system. It sounds awesome on it. Real throaty like an old muscle car. My Dad did the same thing with his 79. I was born in 83 ans he sold it in 84. Took him till 2003 to get another one. I will someday get back into a grand sport or z down the road.

As far as "family" cars go, that is one cool ride. My favorite of the retro designs.

When I decided to sell my second Corvette, a '70 bb, because my wife was expecting, I bought an (AARRRGGGHHHH) Ford Aerostar van. But, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do !

Why do they call it "common sense" when, in fact, it has become so uncommon?
That's my opinion, it outta be your's. |

Haha the Aerostar. What a great van. My buddy's mom had one forever. They got rid of a GTO Judge- orange- when they had their first kid. Ouch.
As far as the retro's, the Challenger was my favorite design and most practical. Believe me when I say I tried to stick with GM but the Camaro just didn't have the room in the back and the visibility was brutal.

Nice ride.
When I was without a Vette, every one that drove by caused me pain. I hope you are different.
I don't mind the fact that I can't take the family with me in my Vette. In fact, I was hoping that the C7 was going to be 1 passenger...

Congrats. I used to hate on the Challenger. But after the last few years of seeing so many Mustang and Camaros flood the streets, the Challenger is truly the most unique of the 3 pony cars
