The reveal car will be RED according to the Detroit Free Press, and all 7 generations will be present.
General Motors Co. is putting the finishing touches on its North American International Auto Show display, which this year features two levels of cars, an oversized partial Hot Wheels track and, for the first time in Detroit, splits off the Cadillac brand from the rest of GM's stand.
Workers at Cobo Center on Saturday morning were busy completing the all-white Chevrolet stand with blue LED lights in preparation for Monday's press conference announcing the new Corvette. As part of that display, GM will have the first six generations of Corvette — in vintage white — plus the new C7, which will be in red.
The Corvette will be the main draw to the GM stand, but the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GM Sierra pickup trucks will also be prominently displayed among 72 vehicles the public can peruse.
Away from the GM cluster — and among other luxury brands — is Cadillac, which will debut its range-extended plug-in hybrid ELR on Tuesday. That stand is black and white, with more LED lighting and features many sharp edges as Cadillacs typically do.
This will be the first time at the Detroit show that GM is breaking off Cadillac from the rest of its brands, something it generally does at other auto shows, especially overseas. But GM now believes Cadillac is a true competitor among the luxury elite.
GM's stand this year will feature a second level that will house global cars and have a Manchester United theme.
GM last year signed a sponsorship agreement with Barclays Premier League's Manchester United, a soccer team in England that has worldwide appeal.
The Detroit automaker will also have oversized partial Hot Wheels track, complete with a life-size Camaro. GM last year signed an agreement allowing Mattel Inc.'s Hot Wheels to make a miniature version of the car.

Looks like they will have one hanging on the wall too!
The Chevrolet display under construction at the North American International Auto Show Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Detroit, Michigan. Approximately 800,000 visitors are expected to tour the show, getting a first look at the new 2014 Corvette (on the wall under cover). The show opens to media on Monday, and the public on January 19. Don't they think Corvette is a world class competitor too? Would be nice to see them try this with Corvette as well. Or do they already do this? I've never been to one of these shows.

It is a world class competitor, but not so much in sales outside of the US. This is mainly due to the export prices being outrageous.
When I spoke to Doug Fehan last month, he said they don't sell a single car (Corvette) in Japan, yet they have SEVEN (7) Corvette specific magazines there......I don't think we even have that many here.

WOW !!! Seven Corvette specific magazines in JAPAN! That's a real eye opener.
Wonder if a right hand drive version will be available with this model. I suspect Australia will gobble them up.

Another fun story is that when Corvette Racing started going to Le Mans for the 24hr back in 2000, they were obviously frowned upon and made fun of. Through success and their obvious bad assness, the following year their car was featured on the town's weekly bus schedule.
They broke through to the masses.
People who say Europeans hate the Corvette are sorely mistaken.

Oh yes! I remember Le Mans 2000. Audi 1-2-3. And the Vettes got a podium finish! I'm sure lots of Europeans like Corvettes. Not all of them are like Clarkson.

Clarkson has come around though. He even bought one. I believe a ZR1, but possibly a Z06.
Of course, as long as the rear bumper cover is squishy he's going to keep pushing on and making fun of it
