Red face Non-functioning door lock

When trying to lock my doors with the fob, the passenger side functions fine, but the drivers side knob will only travel part way and doesn't lock. Any help? And as long as I'm on the subject, if I have to remove the door panel I could use a turorial on that.

My 90 did the same on both doors. My fix was to remove the door panels and lube up the linkage. Also the lock buttons are tempermental as far as location. My lock rods had to be slightly rebent to align properly with the door trim so they didnt drag or hang up. Door panels are easy to remove. Screws along the bottom, two IIRC in the door pull, one behind the courtesy light lense, one holding the handle trim. There is also one behind the passenger window switch and one on the driver under the switch panel IIRC. This is all from memory so I may have missed one or two. If door panel doesent lift upward easily then there are more screws. Just see where it is still held tight and look for a screw. Hope this helps you out to get things fixed up.
