they give you a better deal, "but wait you can get 2 for the
price of one"....., it can't be very good if they gotta give away an
extra one.....

....I have taken advantage of food offerings 2 for 1 if I
know the brand, but none food products don't get my

A lot of that crap of “two for the price of one", you still have to pay shipping and handling. It all adds up to the same price for the two products they wanted to sell them in the first place.

And it's usually junk. Remember Popiel's (sic) Pocket Fisherman? That was junk.

Smithers, unleash the hounds!
Edelbrock E-Force 1593 & Magnaflow exhaust for that healthy American sound. Before SC 354 RWHP, after SC 484 RWHP. That's all I can do and still pass California smog.

Kentucky mentality has caused me a bit of concern. I built a restaurant/lounge for a Mexican friend of mine and for our grand opening we advertised 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. The city liquor honcho came by and informed us that we couldn't offer two for the price of one. However 1/2 price was allowed. Now where I went to school..................!

For most of human history,
Vehicles had automatic collision avoidance and
Could even take you home if you were sleeping or drunk.
Then we got rid of the horse

Part of the two for the price of one deal is that costs go down dramaticaly the higher the quantity of something you manufacture. Set up time for machinery and equipment is divided by twice the number, and raw materials are always cheaper if your buy twice as much, for the same reason.

The other part of the two for one deal is as someone stated the shipping and handling. They may not charge you the $19.99 for the product but they still charge you $12.00 for the shipping and $9.00 for handling their own product.

That handling charge more than makes up for the slight loss of selling two at the price of one.
