VERY Cool. But whats the point? It'll never be used as a "car." It's relegated to a life of just sitting there. I can appreciate the rareness of cars like this, but I'd rather DRIVE them.

Cool story. But really how many 67 big block cars are drivers? I watch the auctions and all of them seem to be Bloomington Gold, Never driven in rain cars etc etc. I wonder does anyone really drive them? I've never seen a big block car except at shows.

"Car has never seen moisture" Appreciate well preserved cars but that is a little too geeked out for me.

96 stock and 86E I don't even know how to explain anymore.

I didn't notice who owns it now and what is its estimated worth?
I agree. Only a nut case would park a car for 45 years to keep it from exceeding 3K miles and then live in poverty, eating donuts in auto showrooms every morning to survive.

Amen. If Halle Barry was my wife, I sure wouldn't be saving her for the next guy after I croaked. He's gonna get some used shit!

The current owners are lucky the city of Colorado Springs didn't confiscate the car for back property taxes. My guess is the only reason it hasn't happened is that some city wonk hasn't thought about it yet.
