Honestly, I'd rather the fender flares be more integrated into to body.

That definitely brings to mind the old adage... You can put lipstick on a pig....and its still a pig.
Those fender flares don't blend into the other body elements, like at the vents down at the rear, or the body hump at the back of the front flares... plain bolt on UGLY.

This looks pretty terrible... The lines of the fender-flares don't work with the lines of the car at all and that stripe is... disgusting to say the least.

That can't be real...
Stick-on fender flares? Huh? Really?

The red image at the top must be a Photoshop creation. I'm sure the real thing will blend much smoother and look terrific.
Tick tock...tick tock... all in due time.

My dad had those flares on his 1979 Ford F250 back in 1980.
Pretty retro for a C7.

That's the same "treatment" they did on the 09 Solstice Coupe, you can't see NOTHING out it but maybe a fast glance if your looking at the right time. That coupled with the "tunnel" rear window view makes the solstice a very big blindsided machine to drive.
I see the same traits with this C7 and the way they did the rear glass and B pillar glass.
But there are those that say "just adjust your mirrors" ( You never have a car slide in from two lanes out into that blind spot)
