Photoshop challenge
Would love to see someone who is good at Photoshop mock up a 4 door C7 ala the Aston Martin Rapide. Be nice for America to have a true performance sedan.
Any takers?? Thank you in advance!

There are several "True" performance sedans in NA. GM has the CTS-V and is about to have the "SS" (name excluded) will be a great performance sedan.

He means something more along the lines of a Porsche Panamera or an Aston Martin Rapide. Both luxury performance sedans. As awesome as the CTS-V and future SS are they aren't within the same ecosystem as those two cars are. In this case a slightly smaller version of the Cadillac 16 concept from a few years ago and an updated style with a V10 would fit the bill I think.
Also an elongated C7 would look awful.

yes that is what I have in mind. I would like to see it rendered though. The Rapide is amazing in person. The Porsche is just ok. I would love to see and have a C7 Rapide.

Other than a slightly larger back seat and an operable curtain on the rear glass, what makes either car better than a CTS-V?

2000 Pewter/Black Coupe, gone.
1974 Blue/Silver Coupe, gone.
1982 Gold Coupe, gone. |

From a performance standpoint CTS-V is about the same on the track as either of those. Granted it's cheaper and a little smaller (won't be in 16) but you could make the same argument between a 911 and C6.

Yea but it wouldn't ever work. The dimensions and mechanical design of a Vette do not work for a sedan. The roofline is way to low, there wouldn't be a decent trunk..... the list would go on and on
