Panetta: Obama Absent Night of Benghazi

Panetta: Obama Absent Night of Benghazi

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified this morning
on Capitol Hill that President Barack Obama was
absent the night four Americans were murdered
in Benghazi
on September 11, 2012:

Panetta said that Obama left operational details,
including knowledge of what resources were available
to help the Americans under seize, "up to us."

In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11,
he did not communicate with a single person
at the White House.

The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans,
including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Panetta said that, save their 5 o'clock prescheduled
meeting with the president the day of September 11,
Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with
the defense secretary that day.
There were no calls about the what was going on
in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.

Extreme taxation, excessive controls, oppressive government competition with business, frustrated minorities and forgotten Americans are not the products of free enterprise. They are the residue of centralized bureaucracy, of government by a self-anointed elite. - Ronald Reagan

You guys amaze me...

Ya bust his balls for daring to give the word "GO" regarding bin Laden...
Ya bust his balls for letting his Defense Secretary call the shots in Benghazi...

You say he fucks things up worse when he is involved in something, yet when he pulls back, you blame him for not being involved.

Please...please...select one mode of "rage" and stick to it. Oh wait...you have...your rage is that Obama is still President.

Rest assured, I don't care who runs against him, I would NOT vote for Obama for a third term. That sets a dangerous precedent that I will not participate in.

Actually, if you think it further through. He lacked backbone in BOTH situations. With Laden, he lacked the balls to make the call on his own. He was not mentally in the game. With Benghazi, AGAIN he lacked the balls to make the decision and left the decisions up to his minions.

When there is a hard decision to be made, his chair is empty.

Last I heard, most people were against his decision...including Biden. He was the only one giving the GO...and you know sure as the sun rises, that if something had gone terribly wrong, ya'll woulda pounced all over him. Gimme a friggin' break.

Your talking to the wrong crowd. It was him and his people condemning and constantly slamming Bush for the policies he now continues and expands.

Your worried about our rage? I am wondering where all the ObamaBots went to when he started walking/talking/acting like Bush.

Fascism is a religion of the state. It assumes the organic unity of the body politic and longs for a national leader attuned to the will of the people. It is totalitarian in that it views everything as political and holds that any action by the state is justified to achieve the common good. It takes responsibility for all aspects of life, including our health and well-being, and seeks to impose uniformity of thought and action, whether by force or through regulation and social pressure. Everything, including economy and religion, must be aligned with its objectives.

I'm not sure Biden is the quality example that I'd want to compare our POTUS to.

As for Obama leading the way to kill Bin Laden....(Insert Face Palm) It was reported within days that Hillary and Panetta were the force to take him out and the force to pull the trigger.

Obama 'cancelled missions to kill bin Laden THREE TIMES after getting cold feet - until Hillary Clinton stepped in'
