pasti dipped

the pics will not show for me...did you use the gloss over the black to make them shiny? it looks like you used 2 cans based on the price. is that correct for 4 wheels? thanks for the answers in advance.

yes, actually about 1.5 cans , and no i didn't use any clear. Wanted to but was afraid it would dry fade or crack or something.. Looks like matte black in person.

You say "just peel it off". Have you tried it or know someone who did? I am thinking of doing the same thing but I am concerned about the difficulty of "peeling" it off. Thanks

Which clear coat did you put on there, and how did the clear coat bond with the plasti-dip? On the plast-dip website, they say if you don't use there clear coat it will cause problems trying to bond, and will not peel off the rim like it should? Has anyone run into this?

I used rustoleom spray clear. I just just sprayed the wheels on the car. very very light coats. The next morning made the brakes sound like they were grinding until it burned off the rotors! scared me !!!! But to answer second question, I did a test run on a stock c6 chrome wheel, let it dry and peeled it off.
