new clutch now have chatter in 1st and reverse

Hi
I changed he clutch and now in first my 92 has this chatter or vibration when I let out the clutch in 1st and its really bad in reverse the care bucks and vibrates bad. Not sure what is causing it. I torqued everything down to specs but I am wondering if the C tube is not tight and is letting things move about. its so bad it sounds like something is going to break.

Did you resurface the flywheel and use new parts?

good point ! most issues with a clutch "chattering" are the result of an un even clamp surface like a warped or heat spotted surface on the flywheel or pressure plate

Thats what I was going to say!

Should always have it resurfaced or replaced. And did you replace the entire clutch or just the disc?
