I can forgive it being an import.
I can forgive it being a six banger.

But Dirty Harry being sponsored by Natty Light

Seriously the beer for when you don't have the money to buy beer?

I have ALWAYS had a soft spot in my car for the Z cars. I've had three of them and will build an LS version one day.

A 240z with a Chevy small block is one amazing car.

Hell I even like them through the 260-300z especially the 300 z tt of the 90s.

Back when I was about 22 I built a big block 454 with hi rise and dual quads, 2 stage nos, 775 naturally asperated to rhe wheels. Talk about a kick in the pants . Never got it to hook up with the second stage though. Gave up and sold it. Was always tagged for street use. Small block would have been much more useable but hey its all or nothing right

I can't imagine how silly that car was. My last one was a 78Z with the straight 6, I had a cam dual webber SU carbs and a header on it and was outrunning new Mustangs at the time, early 90's

Yeah tire wear was a bit of an issue, but the smoke show it could perform would make most mustangs or camaros hide in the shadows. Friday nights crusin' were nothing but . I will see if I still have any pics. Didnt look bad once you got past the slicks on the back and harwood scoop on the hood. Turning right was a real bitch though.

I have raced against Paul Newman (also met Joanne Woodward) and that looks a lot like his old Bob Sharp #33 Datsun. I wonder if these Hollywood types just recycle their cars? He was a little bit mean on the track.
