BAM!!! Best post of the day. Perfectly illustrates the fear people have about gun ban proposals.

There's one major difference from those times and now. Back then, the government wanted EVERY weapon that the Indians had. That's not what the government is asking of its U.S. citizens.

But that's a nice spin though.

Not yet might be a better phrase to add to that. If the government gets the "assault" weapons then the next shooting migh be a Glock and they'll want the semi-automatic handguns and then the revolvers. I'm afraid that once they get a foot in the door they'll go plum nuts. There's not a soul in Washington that has even a lick of common sense or morality. For sure there are no Republicans that have any ba&%$ or should I be polite and say "testicular fortitude". Assholes every one.

Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a convenience store and not a government agency.

Surely the Republicans are not going to allow the government to be ran by the Democrats for the next century. And surely the Republicans will just overturn any legislation that bans any assault weapons when they take over government, right? I mean it is that simple, right? No need for us to get upset, just overturn what get passed when the Pub's take office.

Or am I being delusional...
