Well, obviously this sucks. I appreciate you being straight with us, as, I'm sure, every one else does. The letter states that they are attempting to increase production, so why the decrease in allocation? Have you checked with other large dealers to see what their allocation did?

I'm willing to wait to do business with you Rick, but how long is the wait going to be? Is there someone we as customer can complain to en mass?

Rick:

My dealership said I need to make any changes I may want to my order by tomorrow(I was advised Tuesday is the cutoff for order changes). They said they got an allocation and my order must be placed tomorrow because of the window they are allowed.

I was also told that the polished wheels are on constraint this week so I have to settle for painted( I will get them polished elsewhere).

Can you verify any of this?

Rick, there are no numbers on the sheet - do you get zero? - or did you erase the numbers? ...how many did you get allocated?

I know Chevrolet is using the Z06's for bargaining chips to dealers for taking extra inventory. I've talked to dealers who have taken 20 additional Chevrolet units (not Corvettes) to get one. They otherwise would not have gotten one. They haven't done the training either. They usually put their one Z06 on ebay and let it go to the highest bidder. Those are the cars that should have gone to the volume dealers who have them sold. I bet Rick will back me up on that one. The Corvette allocation process is a frustrating thing.
