goes to show you that even if stock the Ford GT might be faster however with just a little investment in the Z06 it will walk on a Ford GT.

Of course we love the vid...I had some problems trying to watch that last night. Thanks for the post. I wonder if the girl who thought the GT would win ended up going home with the guy in the Vette!

That video is sweet. It almost looks like the Vette crashes into the wall when it is doing donuts, I hope not. That last race was the FGT got totally destroyed. This is the first ZO6 vs FGT vid I have seen, cool.

Awesome Video
I don't know if any of you guys read the latest issue of MT where they did a tuner shoot-out vs., which included a stock Z06. They had a Ford GT with only $5800 in mods that gave the car 720hp!!!

I like the vid and have talked to the Z owner about it several times. The guys over on the GT forum are of course bad mouthing the Z, saying that it is not stock. blah, blah, blah. Here is the reality - the Z has intake and a mild tune and is making only 30 more HP than stock, and it walks the GT (every time during several roll ons and from a dig). 'Nuff said - 30 HP more is all it takes to make it no contest. In other words, stock vs stock, they are so damned close, it will be the driver that makes the difference.
