I would try to see if the unit is getting power at all. Dis-connect the battery for 30 secondes or so and re-connect it and see if there is any change.

If the hud brightness dimmer switch is disconnected, I believe it will default to blacked out, as if it's all the way down.

Check that connection.

I disconnected the battery and reconnected.. this did not fix the problem. I ran into an additional problem now my radio displays a loc code and I don't have the code. I'll work on that later. Is there only one cable that hooks up to the HUD? (ribbon cable located center of instrument panel). I don't think I have any power to HUD. I appreciate all ideas and your time. I do have power to the HUD control panel on left of instrument panel. It lights up. Appreciate any input. Thanks!

The problem is fixed. I did not have the ribbon cable that attaches to the left side of the instrument panel fully engaged... just slightly cocked. Thanks for all and any suggestions.
