2002 C5 Bose Stereo Replacement Question

I have been searching for a replacement stereo system and am looking for information.

-I want a stereo that is IPOD compatible and a good fit in a 2002 C5.
-Speaker recommendation for front, rear and tweeters / sub-woofer.
-Amp recommendations

Anyone have any custom work that was done and can shoot me some pictures or ideas?

I have to believe that there are some serious audio junkies out there that have tripped out their stereo system.

Any help is most appreciated.

Hey another member from sunny FL!

here's what I've done so far...

Customized the center console to accomodate a 2-DIN sized headunit, Pioneer touchscreen AVIC. Setup for GPS NAV/CD/DVD/VCD/SVCD/MP3 and complete iPod control. Speakers are JL all around except for an Alpine/Rockford Fosgate combo out back in a customized box/center lid. So far I'm really pleased with the results, both aethetically and technically.

I'm just one is a sea of altered and upgraded Vette systems, a lot of knowledge and experience around here, I'm sure you'll get all the help you need along the way.

Here's a couple threads, may give you some ideas...
