Heavy on the gas while making a turn, cold tires, could lose control with TC & AH on or off.

Douge I would so love Chevy to put out that car and have it kill everything in its path maybe even Enzo/CGT, that would be so right. Come on GM, you lose money better than anyone, a few million on a halo super car isn't gonna hurt a thing.

No, for the same reasons there is no easy way to make a base C6 a C6 Z06

lehmannhenry i've heard of people loosing it with TC and AH on, so I think it just comes down to having so much power that its hard to compensate quickly for mistakes.

lawnchair Well DUH! We have a forum here devoted to it, it must be true

I'm glad to hear this thing is taking off, wonder how they'll keep it from breaking loose. Any chance they'll go AWD? HMm

Off-again/on-again super-Corvette is definitely on, GM performance cars chief says

AutoWeek | Published 05/01/06, 2:38 pm et

That off-again/on-again super-Corvette is definitely on, according to General Motors performance cars chief Tom Wallace.

Wallace, who replaced recently retired Corvette chief engineer Dave Hill, tells AutoWeek the biggest challenge facing the so-called Blue Devil Corvette is figuring out how to get 600 hp to the ground in such a way that it can be handled by a driver with the money to buy the car.

Wallace said GM is considering requiring that Blue Devil—and even Z06—buyers attend a driver school as part of the price of admission.
