1stvtt1981 God bless that she is ok. Hope the healing goes well.

The Jeep held up well for that much of a crash.

midnite902 Glad she is OK.

Wing So happy to read Allison is going to be ok, and even more grateful she had a large vehicle to surround her.
It did its job protecting her, Thats the most important part of the ordeal.

The Torch Glad she is okay Bill. As for fixing it, just get AJ to come down there with his Adams bucket. He'll have that Jeep looking like new in less than a day

BLK 1 The first thing I thought was she is lucky she was not in a little econo gas sipper. Hope you can fix her Jeep and I am glad she is ok!

BadBlackVett Jeep Cherokees are awesome, sometimes I miss mine. No frame damage means it can be repaired at home. Since there were thousands made parts should be easy to source. Good luck with the repair.

Glad to hear your daughter is well and it's obvious she is a car person when she asks if it can be fixed.

72SBVet Thank the Lord she is ok. I'm now recovered from 18 wheeler accident from 7 months ago. Hopefully the soreness will go away soon. Since she likes Jeep's she can buy my 89 Grand Wagoneer

Funny thing is, if I show her those pics, that is what she would want. As much as she will not admit it, she is really a car person, especially when it comes to Jeeps.

matchframe I think the Jeep is repairable. When we first saw the Jeep, my daughter looks at me and says, "....can you fix it Dad?" I said I will do the best I can, but be prepared that it may not be able to be fixed.

After I got it home on Saturday where I could get a real good look at it, I think I can fix it. It will take a while however. What did the damage was a 2 in diameter steel post which holds up the cables between the freeways. It missed the frame - not even a scratch on the frame - and stopped before it hit any suspension. Once we crow-bared the sheet metal away from the tire, it rolled normally and steered fully both directions. I turned the key to see if the motor was free and it fired immediately but I shut it down immediately so as to not cause any other damage.

We only have liability on it, but the person who is at fault has insurance which should pay for some of the repair.

Right now I am looking for a donor Jeep where I can get most of the parts I need.

C5sarge I'm glad your daughters OK. I also have a daughter who's 27 now. She will always be my little girl as yours will be also. Could have been much worse. Makes you want to give them an extra hug or 2 .

Junkman2008 Wow, glad to hear she's okay.

OldVetteFan Bill -

Thank goodness she's OK. It isn't fun when you're kids are hurt or in trouble, and you're trying to get to them.

Hope she heals quickly and with no long term ill effects.

lsejlowe when I read the thread title I feared the worst, but I'm glad to see it turned out OK. Hope she doesn't have any lasting effects. Any idea if the Jeep will be totalled or repaired?
