“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” — Ferris Bueller

Home safe -but STILL trying to wipe the smile off my face!!

All totaled about 3100 miles and less then $500 in gas. The 435HP saw almost 26MPG!!!

On the trek home- my wife was driving and I found the owner's manual neatly tucked up in a secret compartment in the glovebox.

As I was looking over it- I found that we had heated AND COOLED seats!!! Really missed out trying them out this trip!!!!

Here's some -OK over a 1000 pics of the HRPT- these are by the guy that does the "cars in barns" blog-

Pat- here's some pics of the HRPT passing through Tulsa-

Bigger in Texas- Gas station in Temple TX- 112 pumps!!!

as I'm making a list- name-screen name & phone numbers and venues you'll be at.

Like to meet up w/ you guys...OK- most of you guys!!!

Richard

BTW- Pat - I think you still owe me the most expensive drink Starbucks has!!! So don't be spending ALL your money on that new blower!!
I have a 10 dollar bill tucked deep in my wallet for just that!
On a desperately hopeful note, I HOPE that two things come into alignment.

1. The brackets and pwr streering pump work in perfect alignment with the rest of the accessory drives.
2. My daughter in law somehow finds a way to work around her photography class. Otherwise, my pardner (and son) will be stuck with the kids....and this is and always was a father/son thing in the first place that has been planned two years running now.

AAaarrrgggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If not, this item will be the longest bucket list item I have ever had

cwerner I was hoping to join the tour since 2 days are in my backyard (Baytown and Austin). Can't do it due to work travel.

Hope you all have a great time.

Patro46 Down to the wire now! I had planned on making the run last year, and pre-registered. I lost my investment, as my car was tied up for an entire year on a sub-par paint job.

So this year, I didn't pre-reg for fear of not being ready and losing out again. I still kinda feel that way. If the dyno tune goes well Saturday, I'll get my car and my son's car registered and pick up the tour at Remington Park. Looking forward to meeting you guys!
