Pre-production/extreamly early C5 Z06 thoughts

Guys, I buy and sell Vette's as a hobby, and stumbled into an really unique one, and wanting to know who/where I should turn for more info. The car is a red/mod-red 2001 Z06. VIN shows it as number 37 off the assembly line. NCM says VIN's 20-at least 37, were Z06's. This one was billed to GM and sent to Troy Michigan, to GM's ad agency called Show and Shine. The car ended up on the cover of Car and Driver, as well as pictured in a number of early Z06 ads. From what I can learn, the first true production 2001's started in June of 2000. This car, on Carfax, shows being registered/titled as a manufacturer vehicle in April of a very very early example.

Does anyone know anything about the pre-productions units? This one seems just as the production units were, less the stubby antenna. The car has a long antenna, and in Car and Driver pics, and others, it had the long antenna.

I'm selling the car...thoughts on value? Perfect/clean Carfax, 75k mi. In my area, the car is a $17500 kinda retail car...I think being the "face of the first Z06 since 1963" cert ads value.

What is with the stubby antenna? I have an '04 and it came with a long antenna. I made a stubby for it but still have the long one it came with. As far as adding and extra value, I wouldn't count on very much extra. There were just too many C5's made and they are mot that old yet

RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

If it were a real "pre-production" the VIN would have an "EX" at the beginning. So this car was a real production car, just an early one. It very well could be a press car.
