Messing around in the garage today and a fighting with truck water pump. I am trying to remove the upper rad hose steel tube from the pump. I am trying to twist with a large pipe wrench with no luck. Do i need heat? Do i just start cutting? I know someone has done it here...any suggestions.

Thanks
Kevin

I finally removed the 3 steel tubes. I guess needed to use a bit more force.
Thanks

I have a chance to purchase a 2002 Z28 rad and dual fan set-up just over the boarder from me. Is this a good choice for my 76 with an LQ4 swap. I have already recycled my original rad and fan. I know i have read that the rad is almost direct fit but what about the fans. Price seems good at 100 for both rad and fan. Seller says their perfect.
Thanks

Kevin

Water pump has to be modified. Josh did mine. Pull the pump and ship it to him.

Google is your friend. Any doubts about doing this yourself I would recommend paying someone to do it for you or buy a standalone harness.

72 C 3 LS3 engine swap Wiring conundrum

Hello Josh. I am presently in the primary wiring stage of the swap I have installed the LS3 engine with the
T56 6 sd. My wiring harness came as a kit . I need some help deciding where to put the 2" hole in the dash for the harness and where to install the ECM and fuse box that came with the kit , I was hoping to install it under the console if it would fit? Opinion needed.. The only space I can think of to put the hole for the main harness is almost center of the car just to the left of the AC box . Opinion needed. My harness doesn't seem to include the Trans Harness where can I get it and where does it splice into the main? Thank You Mark

Hi, I'm logged in as Jess. The best spot to go through the firewall is right in the middle where the corner is where the ac wiring would have come through.
Call me or text me with the details on your harness and I'll help you out.
