C5 brake rotor doesn't fit C3 1981 hub

Hmm I bought a C5 front brake kit from VBANDP

To my surprise the rotor doesn't fit my 1981 spindle hub.

The spindle face is larger than the rotor machined surface. And my spindle face diameter is slightly larger than the center bore of the rotor. So it will not sit even.

Anyone had the issue? I've always been happy with VBANDP products

You bought a conversion kit? C3 to C5?

That sucks. But at least you have your answer. We went with Wilwood calipers and they bolted right up. Car stops like ya threw out an anchor.

I have then on my 71 C3. Its a simple job to turn the hubs its a real small amount. If you cant just take the hub and rotor to a shop and the can do it for you. You will love the breakes after wards.

Don't do any thing to the rotors or you will be stuck doing it over and over when you have to replace the rotors.

You know you have to have 17 in rims to clear the calipers.
