mixing tread wear tires

how bad an issue would a new tire on the rear be when the other side has about 60-70% tread life left. I got a flat and then ruined the sidewall....I bought one new tire.... seems ok...but figured Id ask...if I am heading for trouble

I can look for a used tire( hard to find) and set the used one I have aside and buy another new tire...then I have 2 sets...

but if I don't need to....I don't want to

I would think it would be fine, but if it were me, I would just replace both and keep the old one as a spare.

Rain or snow traction might be a problem, otherwise it's fine.

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha

I never drive the car when the roads are wet or predicted to be wet.... and snow is just out of the question... I pulled it out of the garage in the snow to take pictures once, and had a hell of a time getting it back in the garage...big wide tires in the rear acted like skis
