Just sucks.
Vette prices has been declining overall.

Chris Draper should be back from Barret Jackson.
If look at his post yesterday down in other cars & trucks he was there.
See how the Corvette auction block sales are & prices sold.
Gauge off of.

Some guys are paying $30-40K for the Bandit Trans Ams.
You know as well as I do they are slow compared to what we are used to & like.

Fabricating & Welding is in right now Zinc.
You can do both I know.
All my bud Ed does 99 % of the time now.

Face Book has become a cluster Fick.

One guy I know is using Lindkein to land sidework with others Nationwide.
He works more forums than I do daily.
10-12 per day he said in the past.
John is doing OK.
Little guy like us.

RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

I notice other things too that used maintain value no longer do. I have to believe fewer people have as much disposable income as they used to. It's unfortunate, but I agree if Zinc can somehow hold on to it, it'll be worth more again some day. Not to mention looking back and regretting not having it in the future. Times are still tough.

My Goal is to put the Corvette back on Spot Light.

I am not talking about the C7 ZR-1 or C8.
They are both special purpose built Vettes to compete & Win against Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mc Cleron, & Bughatti.

Believe it or not what gets the most attention instant is losing or hack sawing the exhaust off your Corvette or Musclecar Race Car.

Fireballs shoot out of my 1987 Vette now with no exhaust now .
Pretty Blue & Purple Flames about 2-3 feet long.
The Younger Guys just Love It.
Same with my 1963 GP. No exhaust.
I showed the 5.0 Cops in Joliet & Romeville police too at work.
Opened the Hood & Thunder.
Cracked the throttle & Fireballs shot out.
They All laughed & Loved it....
Been a Long time since Hollywood has used a Corvette in a Movie.
Street Racing Away.

i feel that way too---unfortunately with my boys meds
jumping from $300/month (somewhat affordable IF you
budget right) to $1000+ a month (not really affordable
at all unless you got oprahs $$$...) i dont really have a
choice, a 'better career' isnt really feasable at this point
as i am struggling with my 69yr old mom with her failing
health, my son with leukemia, holding down a fulltime job,
trying not to succumb to exhaustion myself all at the
same time, PLUS juggling 3 ongoing projects.....

theres also the "EESBM" factor---
Everybody
Else's
Shit
But
Mine

A 1978 Rubber Bumper C3 sold for $110,000 on Mecums auction block.
Been researching for you.
Custom cars are hard to put a Value on exact.
Big Blocks Rule.
Got a Mecum's thread going down in Bad Shark Lounge.

I put a value at $25,000 on your Car.

My 1987 C4 Roadster peaked at $15,000 or so in 2010.
Value today around $9,000.
I bought it for $8,500 in 2007.

You Tube video has to be made by You Zinc.
Just need your smart phone.
Create a You Tube Account.
Gmail address to link to.

If you need help get one of your Son's to do it.
Once setup it only takes 1-2 minutes to upload to You Tube you Video.

Richard is floating around somewhere.'
He is the Mecum & Barrett Jackson expert.
Auction Block be best I think tonight.

Many other than less perfect or Modified cars sell on the Auctions.

Dead of winter here so usual Ebay & craigslist & facebook will not work .
Get stupid people only.

i think it may be worth at LEAST the low book
($16K at haggerty, $37k high...) but hey if you
think its worth $25k you can have it for my asking
price of only $9k, and shipping would run you maybe
$2k-$3k to west coast then truck to chicago...

so for under $12k it could be sitting in your driveway.

what a deal !!! im down if you are, hah hah......
