We will see when you Wildcats actually play a REAL team. That SEC schedule is as soft as Dolly Parton's breast!
By the way, remember this trophy? Probably not since you guys haven't seen it in a while!

Did you see the game against #5 Kansas? 72-40 is a pretty good margin against a top 5 team. Texas is next. Kentucky could play two top 10 teams simultaneously and win both. Either of the UK "platoons" are a top 5 team and maybe, just maybe #1 and #2. Although Louisville is good they can't keep twelve fresh bodies on the floor all game. If a player or two is having a bad game it's kind of nice to be able to substitute the entire team with near equal talent. They are long and athletic. They are one of the biggest teams in the nation.......including the NBA. Hard to overcome.
They're going to lose a game or two but not this month. I'm guessing that UK will have 8 or nine of the top 50 picks in the draft. It's maybe too soon to print a 40-0 t-shirt but I'd probably buy one and hope for the best.

Nice to see you guys have already given up on football for the year. My daughter is a TCU grad and a season ticket holder. We're pretty pumped about their number 3 ranking that came down in the CFP rankings yesterday. Now if they can just keep from being upset by 2-9 Iowa State this weekend.

Uhhhh, I haven't given up. I'm just a Kentucky fan and we rarely talk football. Not much to talk about really. Now, roundball is a different horse altogether unless it's a Charley horse then it isn't a horse at all.

DEFINITELY haven't given up here! We still have a bowl game to play! Not so much for those cayuts in Lexington!
So Gunny, you sound like a true blue UK fan. Remember last year, the 40-0 squad? What did you all have, like 10 loses? Went to the national championship game and LOST to a UConn team that Louisville beat 3 times last year??? Remember that? Set them lofty expectations way up there and them BOOM, that water balloon was busted with a dose of reality? You all still haven't learned!
Louisville has the much better overall athletics department AND facilities. All UK has is basketball in an old gym. We will see how lofty you all are at the end of the month after you have come through the Yum Center. Remember, FOOTBALL pays the bills and is the sport that the nation cares about. Basketball, well only UK fans live and die by that!
So here's to the cup next year, that we will keep for 5 years straight! Oh, and PS: we beat you all with our THIRD STRING QUARTERBACK!

Say what???? Yep, Rupp is old but it's still the best venue in the nation for basketball. Louisville didn't make the list. You've apparently never been to Rupp. Old gym indeed. I've seen over 25,000 people at the "old gym" Capacity is 23,000 and change and it sells out.......every game.....every year. You Cat lover. The University of Kentucky is simply just called Kentucky. Louisville is just called Louisville. Might as well be in Bumfuk, Egypt. You're just mad because Adolph Rupp was a Racist.
Quote:
On Thursday, Rupp Arena, named after Kentucky’s legendary coach, was called the best arena in college basketball, according to a complete list of all 351 Division I teams from StadiumJourney.com. Rounding out the list at No. 351 is Reitz Arena, home to Loyola (MD).
According to the site, constructing this list was a four-year process, using the following criteria:
Our reviews are based on several categories including: food & beverage in the arena, the overall atmosphere, the neighborhood in which the arena resides, the fans, the access (including traffic, parking, restrooms, and ability to move around in the arena), overall return on investment, and a catchall category for any extras.
The site’s top 10 went accordingly:
1. Rupp Arena, Kentucky
2. Carrier Dome, Syracuse
3. FedEx Forum, Memphis
4. CenturyLink Center, Creighton
5. Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, Utah State
6. Phog Allen Fieldhouse, Kansas
7. Crisler Center, Michigan
8. The Pit, New Mexico
9. Dean E. Smith Center, North Carolina
10. Frank Erwin Special Events Center, Texas
It’s hard to argue with the history and tradition of Rupp Arena and the University of Kentucky. The list is very interesting, though. G.B. Hodge Center, home to USC Upstate, which is an arena smaller than some high school gymnasiums, was high in the rankings No. 15. The home court for Rutgers, Penn State and DePaul fell in order at 335, 336, and 337 on the list. Those three arenas were the lowest on the list for power conferences.

I'm from Syracuse. We gave up on football less than halfway through the year. Thank God for basketball - although that's lookin' pretty shaky this year, too!

Don't hate on us because we have a sparkling NEW arena that NBA teams want to play in! Oh, and we AVERAGE over 22,000 in attendance a game!

OK, lets get this straight.
You like cats but not the Wildcats. Talk about prejudice. What's wrong with being a little wild?
You are a person of the Black persuasion and you profess to like the Kentucky Fried Chicken Center (Yum) . Go figure. Talk about stereotypical.
Wildcats, like my Bengal's ancestors, eat birds for survival. The Cardinal is a bird. 'Nuff said.
Louisville got the Wildcats dis carded coach. A turncoat coach and a traitor at that.
I have always enjoyed the UK, Louisville rivalry and have been to several games. I'll go to more.

So a fan of the team that finished third in the ACC Atlantic is bragging about the Sun Bowl? Get back to us when you're playing for the National Championship in the sport that pays the bills.
