Bereavement in their death to feel
Whom We have never seen --
A Vital Kinsmanship import
Our Soul and theirs -- between --

For Stranger -- Strangers do not mourn --
There be Immortal friends
Whom Death see first -- 'tis news of this
That paralyze Ourselves --

Who, vital only to Our Thought --
Such Presence bear away
In dying -- 'tis as if Our Souls
Absconded -- suddenly --

(Emily Dickinson - Bereavement in their death to feel)

One of my biggest fears is that one of my children leaves our world before I do. I've lost many loved ones but the pain of losing a child is a pain I hope I'll never feel. You have my familiy's deepest condolences and we will keep you and yours in our prayers and thoughts in the coming new year.

Cosmos.....I'm glad you are doing as well as you are. You have been in my thoughts so much lately and prayers too. God bless you and your family as you continue to move forward. I am most certain you are still in shock. I hope you can find a grief support group to attend. I've heard that grief is an odd thing.... and that you may not even be feeling it's full affects yet. We are here for you when you need to talk, be it a year or however long from now.

Thanks Nina I couldn't have said it any better. Cosmo, not an hour has gone by the last couple of days that I haven't thought of you and your family.

Cosmo has posted a few nice pics here on DC.

I'm taking the liberty of posting them on his behalf, in hopes that his intent was for DC members to share in the celebration of Matthew's life.

Godspeed Matthew.
