And every single 4l60E with just it's stock calibration will NOT enter 4th gear at wide open throttle until an extreme high speed or until you let your foot out of the gas. This is a base core programming in all transmissions. Your knowledge has moved to legacy, bro. Because these transmissions were made by the same people that made the 400 and whatever else you loved in your c4 so much, it was just made later and with all the knowledge that you think GM just forgot about before they made any new designs.

I will post up tuning screenshots in a few.
We have seen all your Bullshit.

Fucken get out there and Race Dodge Headsup.
Fucken Win.

Wiz, yes you want to shift at torque peak on any car.

However when you cross the line at the big end you are whinding out the revs.
I am not arguing these points with you . They are correct. We just do not need to focus as hard on them today as they are programmed into the tune for us and as we make changes to the tune it is easy to see why these things are in place.

You need to put the crack pipe down. I tell you every day nobody is going to or start competing. nobody wants to do any prep or even get out of the car at the track and not a single drag pack has been ordered. I don't know what you are even talking about? dominate?? wtf are you smoking up there in IL? If we wanted to dominate a straight track we would not even be using a Corvette.

So the faster your times are the higher the revs are at 1320.

you just dont want to shift into 4 becsue that is most liley overdrive. (real race cars don't have 4th gear so I had to make a point to you to hold it in 3rd)

So your 1-2 and 2-3 shift are at torque peak your are correct, however you will hit the 6000 rpm neighborhood at the end.
I want to humbly explain my position on this better because you are so right. My position was that I don't worry about 4th because in the stock tune file the transmission shift points look like this..

Clearly exhibiting exactly what you are saying about dropping down below the 1:1 ratio. If I wanted to I could change that. But I never play with it because I understand such a high mph means it just doesn't want the transmission to shift there.

Let me show you some more of my bullshit..

This came is for quite a few things. Once I am done welding every seam of the unibody we will bolt just the suspension back to the car and send it out for paint before the interior and engine and electrical and plumbing and everything else goes back in..

The motor is a LS3/480 and while it is out I am to peel off the heads and swap the cam for an even hotter gmpp cam. I believe it is the cam out of the LS3/525. It is pretty clean..

Once everything is all back together of course I will put all of this on the DYNO and tune it to perfection. And then this guy will go have a bunch of fun with his little Miata.

I have to keep showing you because I know how much you prefer working on them busses. And because I know no shop owner in their right mind would let you operate their lift at this point.

You don't weld seams on a unibody to go drag racing. Stop being stupid. Only you are obsessed with drag racing. IF this miata ever goes to a track it will see a road course.

IDK what pack you are even talking about. But to be clear I think I am the only resident tuner on this forum. Most certainly the only tuner across all generations of Corvette. I am also one of the few C1-C7 Corvette specialists on this here Corvette type of forum. From where I sit I am up in front, bud. Especially here on DC.

Ya i'm always playing catch up. Like when I take these Cowl Stabilizer Braces that are to go on the Miata and strip the paint off of them..

And weld the full length of all pieces that make up the braces..

Before getting them back under primer and later paint..

Once installed I will also weld these bolt in parts to the unibody. And also this..

More than enough to put the TA back together.

I hope for your sake she e-filed those taxes and got the direct deposit. It's looking like the gov't is shutting back down come next weekend. Hey did you see this?

Woa, right? What is up with that? FWIW I got back right around what I get back every year. It would be interesting to hear how others made out on their taxes vs. last year. Just to either prove or debunk these news articles that I am finding.
