Here's my car before I finished the pipes out the back. It sounds better now. I have Long tube headers with 3" pipes an X pipe and 3" cats. No mufflers. If I get a chance I'll post another video with the pipes out the back.

ah, a 2001 Cobra screaming all the way to 6800 RPM.. shiver

The cobra engine is DOHC also. 320 HP stock. loves more air. Cam, intake, exhaust and gears and they fly... then there are the supercharged ones from 03 and 04. very nice.

Even with the corvette, I'll always be a cobra driver at heart too. lol
ya i know what you mean my brother got me into mustangs when he got his cobra i had a v6 mustang for a while but decided to go a different direction but mustangs have alot more options when it comes to exhaust but itll change when i get a zr1

A 6 cylinder mustang is NOT worth having. I mean basically its a strong 4 cylinder from what I experienced with my friends. They all drive the nice but weak as hell cars. No competition here. I wish I had some people to go against that could take me. But besides that the cobra mustang is one bad*** car. Sounds great, looks like every other stang but the power is bad. Id take it if it was distinguisable from a 6 banger.

I'm getting pretty curious now... What in the name of hell have you done to your car? What numbers are you putting down? If there's NO ONE who can take you, you probably have done more than just cutted exhaust and airfilter.. (Or do you live somewhere where there are no C5's/C6's or s/c Mustang Cobra's??

my snake was very distinguishable from a 6 banger. The stance of the car is completely different, the sound. that car got as many looks as the vette does now.

I almost talked my wife into letting me keep it when I bought the vette....

10.5 cobra r's in on the back, nice dual exhaust and as long you weren't deaf you would know from very far away that it wan't a 6 banger comin at ya! that car was HOT! of course, so is the c6!

Maybe I'll buy another 01 in a few years if I come across one.
