I am sure Grumpy, Gunny, & Torch remember these Hemi Darts.
I grew up hearing how fast they were by Mopar & Chevy Guys local 1980's into 1990's.




Its one of the Original 10.50 ET factory built cars all motor no power adder.
It has 4.86 :1 Ratio gears in the special A-body platform Dana 60.
A big part why it runs 10.50 ET.
Need Drag Gears to do Hero Drag Racing.
Otherwise your looking at +700 HP more on top of motor N/A to do the same......Torque Tube Corvette be 1000-1200 HP.

Oh I remember them. There were built for one reason and one reason only. To get from point A to point B as quick as possible. The only option in them was a toilet paper dispenser in the glove box in case you had a passenger at WOT

A friend had a 1968 Dart GT or S.
340 LA Small Block.
Get up and move Ok.
Real light around 3000lbs.

They dropped in 440s also from the factory.
